한국의 도시에서 자라며 도로와 대중교통을 좋아했고, 미국에서 대학을 다니며 자연의 아름다움과 중요성을 처음 경험했다. 도시와 자연을 모두 존중하며 공간을 설계하고 활용할 수 있는 길을 찾아 조경에 발을 들이게 됐다.
여러 공간의 문제에 대해 생각하고, 분석하고, 해결하는 과정을 시각적으로 풀어낼 수 있는 면에서 조경의 매력을 느낀다. 다양한 공간의 환경적, 사회적 이해관계자들이 서로 의존하며 성장해 나갈 수 있는 공간을 만들기 위해 경험하고, 배우고자 한다.
